i lamented the auld days of the web that were both simpler and more complicated. i used to spend a lot of time on my tumblr theme (and still do lol) so i thought i'd have fun makin me own website, not to promote anything in particular but just to like write shit on and have a creative outlet.

i'm an analytical chemist for EPA Region 8 where i test environmental samples for metal toxicity. got my degree in chemistry from the U of U. im from arkansas but have lived most of my life in the mountain west. i am interested in history, especially the histories of langauge, and linguistics/conlangs. i generally read romance, sci-fi, and history. i play samus in smash bros melee and go to tournaments sometimes.

currently working on embedding a script that will allow me to write blog posts and have it update here, rather than having to go into my code and add a blog post every time, which would get very messy very quickly.
